As an industry leader Ken has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to successfully reconcile diverse viewpoints and criteria while building consensus internally and externally with tenants, purchasers, vendors, lenders, joint venture partners and their legal teams as well as with project design and construction teams and with government both elected and administrative. Integral to that success is Ken’s expert knowledge and understanding of each component role and criteria so that when consensus is reached, it is not a compromise on goals and principals but a mechanism for mutual success and achievement.

During his tenure as Vice President of one of Canada’s most respected developers Ken was responsible for the development, acquisition and management of commercial projects including shopping centres, major downtown and suburban mixed use development projects, light industrial development, and state of the art downtown and suburban office buildings with individual project valuations in excess of $500,000,000.  In total, this portfolio included 4,500,000 SF of existing space and space under development in 24 projects including two BOMA Office Building of the Year awards, most recently for the 28 storey EPCOR Tower in downtown Edmonton.

With extensive experience in fostering relationships from his previous career in sales, Adam creatively finds solutions for clients and takes pride in tasks being done right, on time, and on budget.  He is a strong believer in building and supporting a development team where all team members are encouraged to creatively contribute their best and to be recognized for it.

Studying at the University of Alberta before graduating with a major in Sociology and a minor in Philosophy, Adam developed a passion for approaching projects differently, determined to find innovative ways to incorporate new solutions for today’s business challenges.

Commercial real estate development has been a natural career progression for Adam having been connected to the industry and certain individual projects for most of his life.  Adam and Ken enjoy working closely with each other both on specific projects as well as on more broad-based advocacy and community building.
