We got 4th!

There were only 3 prizes set to be awarded for the City of Edmonton’s ‘Missing Middle’ competition and Primavera’s submission was good enough that the judges saw it fit to add an "Honourable Mention” prize. While first place would have been great, we are still (as the prize alludes to) “honoured”. There were over 30 submissions received from multidisciplinary teams that had to include architects, builders, and developers. While most were locals from Edmonton there were entries received from Calgary, Toronto, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Regina, Hamilton, and even places as far away as Seattle, Oklahoma City, and London (UK). Our submission, entry #003—also known as S.A.M. (Spruce Avenue Mews)— was put together by an extremely talented team consisting of a group of individuals from the following firms: PRIMAVERA Development Group, RPK Architects, McElhanney Consulting, and Synergy Projects.

S.A.M. can be seen here and the winners (along with the other submissions) can be viewed here.
